When I was up there they did not license Polar Bears, and Polar Bears
were not the reason the Jackalopes went extinct.  It was due to
hunting the prized Jackalope is gone now.  You can see the stuffed
head of the last remaining Jackaope at the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau.
