For what it's worth... When playing with J2EE a while ago, a colleague of
mine an me were able to install and use the j2ee reference as well as jBoss
on MPE/iX. So if you want to try Cold Fusion MX with an MPE/iX machine as
you J2EE server, those two might be promising (free) candidates ;-)
For the grins... we tried the SUN j2ee and Open Source jBoss after failing
to get HP-AS even unpack the install file (it tried to launch GUI windows
even then using the -textonly installation option ;-)
