  Hi, I'm checking into an LVD to HVD converter.  2 companies make them RANCHO and Paralan. I don't know which one is better, but I was told that S.E. connection is just as fast as FW.  I checked and found out that this was true only in asynchrounous transfer.  My question is the data transfer between the disks and the bus of an HP9x7 synchrounous or asynchronous?
