No it didn't happen in Darwin.  

Really, though, it was 80 miles South of Katherine, which is about 190 miles south of Darwin.  That's like saying they bombed London when in reality it was Paris.  (Well, let's try something less populated, how about Penzance?)

And still, it was one of those 'control towers'.   They build those things next to thed weapons range to view the hits.  It's a dangerous job to sit in one of those towers, ya think?
