Here is something to consider. I was not at HP World, but I have heard
stories from people who were. The stories center around the feeling that
Interex has moved away from the MPE users. If this is truly the case, maybe
OpenMPE should run the MPE portion of HP World. It could be a subset of HP
World, or on it's own. If this is something that you want to see, let
Interex know. At the same time, become a member of OpenMPE and give THEM
your support.

Subject: HP World 2003 Conference Survey

Well, back home from Atlanta today and among the first emails received is a
request from Interex to complete the HP World 2003 Overall Conference
Survey.

Good idea. Unfortunately, for those of us who fought the good fight to
retain some kind of a significant profile for the HP3000-MPE platform, the
survey reinforces the notion that we are of little or no interest in the HP
scheme of things today.

What I did in completing the survey was to keep mentioning that HP3000-MPE
related events were the prime reason I attended HP World and the only
rationale I would have to attend future conferences.

If you feel the same way, please let Interex know in no uncertain terms.
