<After John Dunlop>

Hi John,
    I believe the references to "virtual network connection" are
really to "virtual network computing", a free product from
what used to be Olivetti Research Labs and is now, apparently,
owned by AT&T, in Cambridge, England. I've used it from a remote
site to access my PC at work, and as it establishes contact at the
IP level, it is very powerfull with a great many features. I don't know
how Mr. Newman has it set up, but I am fairly sure he is discussing
this product.
    The URL for this is: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/index.html
