Unless the Vectra has some really special BIOS, the 353 would be a
keyboard
error of some sort.  Since the typical keyboard errors are enumerated in
the
POST code lists only up to 304 (or 310 depending on whose lists you
read) I
would guess you have a key stuck somewhere.  Try another keyboard or
else clean
the one you have really well and give it another try.
