Uh oh, let me guess. Perhaps the new Instant Information stuff has a
different part# than LaerRom, and of course everyone's contracts have
the old number, not the new one :-)

It is my impression that the MPE Instant Information is not out yet,
though HP-UX *has* switched to this format. You can see the results at

   http://docs.hp.com/

where the complete HP-UX 10.x and 11.0 documentation is online. The
web interface to Instant Information is at least as nice as having a
local copy of LaserRom. It's really slick (except perhaps for printing
stuff out).

If the MPE documentation makes it to the web also, I don't know if I
would even bother to install the CDROM version as the web version is
so good.

One concern I have is in how much of the existing LaserRom contents
will make it to Instant Information. If they have an automatic
translator then I would hope to get everything. If it requires any
manual effort then I'm worried that we're only going to get a small
subset of the documentation, as the manuals for "obsolete" products
like the SPL compiler and many others will not get transferred.
