will give you some counters that will let you see the raw traffic volume
numbers in units of packets and bytes for all users of a particular physical
network interface.

Keep in mind that there are a couple good *free* protocol analyzers for
Windows and Linux these days, so you no longer have to pay $10,000 for a
copy of Sniffer or Lanalyzer to get into the PC-based protocol analysis
business.

Not that I know of. Most of this is happens either in the context of the
process using the network service or in an interrupt context, and as such is
very hard to split out from the rest of the activity on the system.
Others may have suggestions of specific tools or techniques using
NETTOOL.NET.SYS, etc.
What sort of values are you trying to measure? The load on the 3000 per
transaction, or throughput, or response time, or are you trying to predict
scalability or measure capacity, or...?
