I've heard of RISC architecture, but not PA-RISC.  What is the difference?
 
Also, what kind of chip does the HP3000, or 9000 for that matter, run
on?  An Intel, AMD, Cyrix, or does HP make a chip for it?

BTW, please post replies to this newsgroup instead of email it it's not

Also, I'm new to the MPE iX OS so I'll probably be asking several
beginner like questions in the near future.  So if you don't feel like
