Unfortunately, the thrust of their despair, despondency and debilitation is
the lowly worker--not management--and, so, they are furthering the causes
of management abusing their employees.

In the case of Hewlett-Packard, Carly has--as according to my words in
Chapter 30 of "Assertive Incompetence"--trivialized all of us and made us
as little more than lackeys to contribute money to her cause of greatness,
her narcissism.

The advice of "Sometimes the best solution to morale problems is just to
fire all of the unhappy people", is clearly from very bad management.

As 15,000 people lose their jobs from the merger and truly bad people
management, let us remember our own worth in the eyes of HP: Zero, zip,
nada.

As much as lies within us, let us turn around the abuse and trivialization
of Carly and HP, and, perhaps, we can do some trivializing of our own,
starting with moving our business elsewhere.
