Some time ago I tied to start a news group up for Hewlett-Packard
system interface programming, which just seemed to drop off the relms
of the internet.  Never mind, instead of a news group I have started a
mailing list news group instead.  Below is the original request for
discussion and if after reading that you think you may want to join
the news group please subscribe by sending an EMail to

SUBSCRIBE INTERFACE-PROGRAMMING

CHARTER:
 
This is a forum for discussion of all aspects of IEEE488.2 hardware
and software interfacing.  Topics may include:
 
o Developemnt of new hardware design, tailored around a IEEE488.2 interface.
o Development of new software to interface with a IEEE488.2 interface.
o General sharing of ideas towards interfacing with IEEE488.2
o Sharing of source-code across platfroms to help others develop stuff
  more easily
o Discussions of how to make ATE (Automated Test/Tune Equipment) work for you
