Greg,

There are no really good Raid 5 solutions for the HP3000.  If you have the
money the VA7100, 7110, 7400, XP256, XP512 will work.

Depending on how much disc space you require, the above can be cost effective,
although to get to them you will need a fiber/scsi switch.  The supported
solution is a A5814A-003  (option 003) router with a Brocade switch.

If you want to go with mirrored, look and the Nike Model 20.  This will support
up to 20 * 18GB hard drives, although I do not recommend more than 16 +1 hot
spare.

The Model 20 will support up to 8 mirrored LUNS across two FW-SCSI channels.
Total usable disc space 144GB.

If you need more than 4 Model 20's, then give serious consideration to a VA7100
or XP256.
