I want to thank everyone for the detailed input on "How a job
ends-up with two $STDLIST on the system".

The question was asked in defense of HP's technique used
to retrieve a DFID for a specific $STDLIST. Based on my
experience, and everyones replies, a job can only have
one $STDLIST.

A specific job doesn't have TWO $STDLIST, it
can't!!! However when a job number has been used by two
different jobs, each will have it's own $STDLIST. If this
duplicate job number scenario is occurring on your system,
then maybe the Sys Adm should change the way they are
managing the system counter's and $STDLIST's.

IMHO, the technique used by HP here, to set one var, and
then dynamically update the value of another, is NOT a bad
technique. I think this technique needs to be looked into, and
maybe some improvements made, like more variables that
work this way, and more info returned.

Anyway, I just want to thanks the person that added this
trivial enhancement to MPE, it works for me.
