What is meant in Glance by "Wait : TERMINAL READ"?

We were trouble-shooting problems with telnet connections from a
particular office. I wrote a command file to TRANSMIT to the 3K via
Reflection across a telnet connection, issuing LISTFILE ,3 for each
individual file in an account to simulate traffic, and tested it on my
PC to make sure that this would successfully complete, then made this
available to the office in question. This test worked in that each such
session hung. GlanceXL showed "Wait : TERMINAL READ" for the PIN
for each telnet session, without exception. I think that this means
telnet is waiting for something from the client, but wanted any light
that list members could shed on TERMINAL READ (not much luck searching
the LaserROM) and telnet, such as what could be going wrong with the
communication.
