Uh, spanked?  Have you followed the links in there?  Take away M&M and
there's plenty of others injecting doubt into the "hockey stick".  Here's

Mr. Lambert's blog is full of his opinion and those who think like him and
that's fine.  Others raise disagreements with him.  This is the normal ebb
and flow of scientific discussion.  If there's anything you can be sure of
is that if anyone is that sure about something, they're going to be wrong -
eventually.
