I use and like diff, and have gotten quite use to its interesting
format. I have had a problem diffing COBOL source, especially when one
of the files does not have filecode EDTCT. I keep meaning to learn how
to MPEX ALTFILE these to EDTCT (and welcome instructions), but I don't
know that that would really solve the problem I see. I get the error
message "file too large", or something to that same effect, when these
files are < 2000 lines. We had someone call HPRC about this, and last I
heard, it was a known problem with an SR, but I was not given
information about if or when this would be remedied.
