It doesn't return a true or false value. It doesn't seem to return any value at
all.
I just do
SETLVAR FLOCK VEFLOCK(fnum, TRUE)
and ignore the value returned.
It does seem that if you use the non-waiting variant,
VEFLOCK(fnum, false)
there doesn't seem to be any way of telling if the lock succeeded or not.
