Another slight strangeness: One of our 3-wire DTC serial cards got
misconfigured as a modem card.  No complaints or error messages; the
LDEV's simply didn't exist and NMMGR thought it was a modem card.  We
reconfigured it, and it worked fine.
 
Overall, I'd say HP has done an outstanding job of pulling an O/S from
the late 60's into the present.  I still have applications that were
written in 1979 and still work, with mod's only required as the
application changed and _not_ due to HP.
