Oh, this is just beautiful.  After being loyal for 21 years to HP3000 and
beting my entire company that HP3000 is going to be here and not going away
to other platforms (like many other vendors did 3-5 years ago), HP just says
"This is it!"?
How nice!!!  You have to love it!!!

I wonder how many other companies (vendors) are out there like me who
suddently (overnight?) does not have a product to sell.   I really like to
hear from this people and see what they are planning to do.
Open MPE concept is great, but I afraid that it will become another Linux,
where you will end up with hundredes of flavors and will end up running into
compatability issues.   Any comments about this?
For one thing I can assure to my customers, they will not be going to HP Unix
or any other hardware that has 'HP' on it (of course 'HP3000' will not be
included in the BLACK LIST).
