I am doing some testing on an HP3000/918LX (40MHz - hee hee - such
speed... wheee...!) Anyway, I digress.
I am trying to restore a single file (~150 80 byte lines of code) from a
store-to-disc set. The disc files are:
:LISTFILE /BACKUPS/SYSTEM/@
PATH= /BACKUPS/SYSTEM/
STDSYS.1.1 STDSYS.2.1
:FILE SD=STDSYS.SYSTEM.BACKUPS;DEV=DISC
:RESTORE *SD;FTPSTORE.JOBS.SYSLOCAL;OLDDATE;SHOW
>> TURBO-STORE/RESTORE VERSION C.75.08 B5151AA <<
(C) 1986 HEWLETT-PACKARD CO.
RESTORE *SD;FTPSTORE.JOBS.SYSLOCAL;OLDDATE;SHOW
WED, SEP 17, 2008, 1:04 PM
WILL RESTORE 1 FILES ; NUMBER OF FILES ON MEDIA 17847
...
The difficulty is that this has been running now for more than 30 minutes.
There are no outstanding replies waiting on the console. Is this length
of time normal for a restore form disc?
Regards,
