Our marketing department publishes a monthly "newsletter" to people who
have actively "opted in"
via our website. Up to now this newsletter has been sent by a
third-party service provider.
Now, there is interest in bringing this "mailing" inhouse and having it
sent from one of our
mail servers. This desire stems from wanting to avoid having messages
rejected due to "blacklist problems".
Ee have the capacity, that is not a problem. My concern is that we
place our mail email address at risk
of being blacklisted, because of the large number of messages that will
start coming from us.
How do other companies, handle marketing type mailings? Is it "normal"
(what a loaded word;-) to use
a third-party to send them? Or do most people send these large mailings
from their main email server?
