   From the PCL Programmers guide, you might try cursor positioning.

Function                  Parameter        Command
------------------------- ---------------- --------------
Vertical Positioning      # of Rows        ESC&a#R
                          # of Dots        ESC*p#Y
                          # of Decipoints  ESC&a#V

Horizontal Positioning    # of Columns     ESC&a#C
                          # of Dots        ESC*p#X
                          # of Decipoints  ESC&a#H

Where # is the number of Rows/Columns/Dots/Decipoints.

I would try ESC&a0R followed by ESC&a0C  (Sets the cursor to 0,0)
