I am converting my 2563A printers from HP-IB to serial interface
and connecting them to DTC ports instead (under duress).

All of the other remote serial printers around the office are setup
as printer type 18. As these 2563A's are going to be the "system"
printers, should they be configured differently? I especially don't
like the "feature" of these serial connections where a loss of
power means that the spool files waiting to print, leak off into
the bit bucket in the sky and get lost. Is there something I could
do differently to eliminate this problem? Any other helpful
suggestions (take an aspirin and call the doctor tomorrow)?
