I guess the majority of the Iraqi population isn't living in freedom. I
guess they are still being tortured and killed by the hundreds of thousands.
Tongues are still being cut out, women being raped in front of their
husbands and children, limbs still being chopped off.
I think the media types are saddened by the fact that they can't report
these stories any more. Oh but wait they never did report them. They
traded their journalistic ethics for a pass to stay in the country of Iraq.
That's right.

And the President's staff isn't doing the same?

This isn't a right/left issue, but just in general. What President (or any
leader) surrounds himself with
people who disagree with him? I don't think a person would last long on
the staff if they
were trying to tell him there was bad news.

For those of you who work in a large corporation - how many times did your
higher ups want
to hear about a problem?

Anyone watched some History Channel stories lately, on the shuttle
disasters?
Some people tried to tell their boss that they thought there was a problem.
And they were told "I don't want to hear it - there is NO problem".
And they even refused to have any one try to get a look to see if there was
a problem.

So, no, I don't think the President is getting any less biased news coming
from his staff
than from any media source. I think he's only hearing good news,
everything's fine, it's just
that "evil" media that's telling us bad news...
