Well, if we are going to throw product names around, I should point out that
HIBACK/Windows can back up your PC to your 3000's disc or tape.  I has a very
powerful Windows-driven file retrieval so that you can restore the files you
want very easily.  You do not have to replace your current backup software,
HICOMP sells a listener for the iX or UX box and you just need to have a
client copy for your PC.
 
I use it myself, backs up my 486/66 PC 300 megs to my 922/LX in about 50
minutes. Works fine, lasts a long time.
