KSAM Files with 4 mio. entries

Dear listers,

a new question. We are creating an interface, where we have to store >
4.000.000 address entries. We used to use KSAM for searching in the
database (partial name). Now I fear that with that many entries the KSAM
searching will slow down dramatically.

Any experiences???
