As Mark mentioned signing up for organ donation is quite simple in most
states.  Washington State offered stickers you could add to the back of
your drivers licenses to indicate donor status - in addition to adding it
to your state license record.  If you take the time to discuss organ
donation with your family (and friends) it can significantly reduce the
stress and emotional problems for the family in the event of an accident.
