Sigh, again a question without proper information. Which SP of NT 4.0 are you
running?

Look at Q198406 for the information you need. Here is the title:

RIP Version 2 Does Not Advertise Subnet Routes [Q198406]

Good luck and I hope to see you at HPWorld.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Subject: OT: Windows NT question (hi Denys)

Here's an obscure Windows NT question (NT server 4.0) that I can't find
an answer to after numerous searches of the Microsoft knowledge base.
NT has a "RIP Listener Service" which, as I understand it, is used to
build an internal routing table when you have multiple NICs (in this
case, three). I have the service running, but 'route print' doesn't
show me the routes that we are advertising. But here is the rub... we
are using RIP version 2 (multicast-based, and supports VLSM).

Does NT's RIP listener support RIPv2?
