I was wondering if anyone here has seen the following. I have only
been monitoring this list for a short while, so if this is old news,
please forgive.

We have a client running MPE/iX 5.0 (C.50.00). When a COBOL program
calls FUNCTION CURRENT-DATE, the returned value is:

1994021718120500-0500

The acutal date is:

1995070709270500-0500

I'm not really concerned about the time (although, being off by 9
hours is significant, i'm not trying to return the time from this
call), but the date???? I can't find anything that can account for that.

We have other clients on 5.0 and the problem hasn't appeared at any
of them, yet.

TIA
