Jan,

/APACHE/PUB/conf/httpd.conf IS the right file!

Here you have the entry
PORT 80
which can be changed.

Restart the server job and bingo new port is used.

But pay attention to the fact that the system must know the new port!

Subject: Apache/iX is running, but how do I change the TCP
port 80 to TCP port 8889.

Dear MPE-(wo)men,

Does anybody know how to change the TCP port the server listens to?
I have tried some changes in the httpd.conf file, but I do not notice any
change in the port behaviour.
Please respond to this message on [log in to unmask] because I need the
answer on my work.

Greetings and thanks in advance,

Jan Gerrit Kootstra
