If you are using the 837 universal loader.  The instructions on the screen tell you to put the file in a POSIX directory, and POSIX file name.  The JCL gave me no clue?

FILE MUST BE IN THE X837IIN GROUP

FILE NAME MUST BEGIN WITH 'X' AND END WITH '.ami'

FILE NAME SHOULD BE IN THE FORMAT 'X12345678TP.ami'

Why??!!  The tedious keystrokes have caused operational error several times.  We use macro's, but this gives us errors when we test in other accounts. 

It appears a standard MPE file works fine?
