MPE will always be the same great MPE that we're all so passionate about.  It
is NOT turning into Unix!

But it will freely borrow from the Unix world.  Unix has managed to come up
with a few good ideas in its ~30 years too.  In alot of areas, the Unix
opensource arena constitutes the leading edge of Internet technology.  MPE has
done a very good job I think over the past several years of leveraging these
technologies through the work of people both inside and outside of CSY.

It's my opinion that MPE represents the best of both worlds --
refrigerator-like reliability coupled with the best of today's technology.
