Klaus,

Are you using a 16 or 32 bit language for your application? Are you using
a 32-bit application such as Office 95 or Office 97? This is crucial in
that if you are using 32-bit apps, the 16-bit driver will not work at all.
16-bit drivers will only work with 16-bit apps, and 32-bit apps will only
work with 32-bit apps.

Also, the older ODBC driver from HP (PC/API) does have its problems under
NT (3.51 and 4.0). My advise? Either wait for ODBCLink/SE, or if you
need it now, look at the commercially available drivers...there are two
out there now, and within days (I hear, that is, I don't know this for a
fact), a third (Minisoft) will be available.

Best Regards,
Joe Geiser
