And for those of us up in the mountains (i.e., without Fry's), it would be
great to be able to order (via the web) a cheap IA64 clone (or, if it
pleases HP, an original HP machine) and install MPE on it.  In fact, I would
buy SEVERAL such machines (and several copies of MPE to go with them, of
course).  My lower back (also my upper back) would be thankful because I
have been carrying a 918 for years inside a Samsonite suitcase while
on trips to Europe.  The "A" class is a good improvement, but I look forward
to a laptop-sized machine that can run MPE.
