Well, unless you're using mixed terminology, you can't do what you're asking.
If you compile on an MPE/V box, you're producing a USL file.  You can take
that to an MPE/iX box and PREP it into a  compatibility mode program file.
The linker on MPE/iX takes native mode object files and RLs and produces a
native mode program file.

Now, if you're asking, what are the compatibility issues if I take a COBOL
program I created on MPE/V and run it on MPE/iX, then you need to check out
the Migration Process Guide to see what issues you might have with your
program.
