Cortlandt weighs in on the "charity or grinch" issue:

> I suggest that to the WSJ it would look a bunch of nice users
> of a dying operating system giving money to charity. Where
> is the "wake up call" in that?

I had not thought of that angle when I posted earlier today...
and while I still take my hat off to Lars for a neat idea, after
factoring in Cortlandt's above I respectfully but pretty strongly
feel: Give to your favorite charity(ies) at home or at work or
wherever; keep the "this is not personal; this is just business"
focus (credits to the original Godfather movie)...

What we do NOT want: Some enterprising headline writer
coming up with something like:

"WAKE UP CALL, or JUST a WAKE ??"

noooooo...... I realize somebody might come up with some
variant of that anyway..... but let's not give them extra help in
thinking of it....
