Hey,
As if WE need another idea for the "ad". But, I can't resist, so here
goes:
Picture this first:
The top quarter/third of the page has an owl perched atop an HPe3000
K-series box. The linedrawn owl would have an overemphasized head with a
scowling look on its face.
Underneath the owl/HP e3000 would be the text in a LARGE block font " WHO
KNEW?"
Beneath that is a regular letter style layout that says:
Dear Carly Fiorina and Company,
We were just wondering why one of HP's finest inventions, the HP e3000
which runs the MPE/iX operating system and the IMAGE/SQL database doesn't
get mentioned more often?
With over 25 years of innovations your team has improved this platform to
the point where it is the most robust OLTP server available. Plus, it's
the easiest to manage and the most reliable too!
Come on, don't be modest! Let the rest of the world know about what you
and your team have done with the HP e3000.
We'll be watching,
The many satisfied users of the HP e3000 who paid for this ad, that's WHO!!

Just my two cents' worth,
