What Larry may not realize is:
1) A 908 was in HP's plans. It was promised to customers for several
years, even within the HP booth at Interex!
2) The 908 was a cost reduced (and, possibly, speed reduced) version of
the 9x8 line. Indeed, several manuals for the 918 mention the 908!
3) *WE'RE SERIOUS* about wanting an official, on-the-price-list (such as
it is) 1 or 2 user, low cost, easily portable, affordable support cost
HP3000! Wirt happened to call it the 908, perhaps because of
items 1 and 2 above.
