POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
 
Wharton County Junior College is accepting applications for the position of
Systems Analyst.  Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements,
procedures, and problems to automate processing, or improve existing
computer information systems and to develop new computer information
systems.  Codes, tests, and implements procedures to ensure data accuracy
and integrity. Supervises and directs activities of the programming staff.
 
The successful applicant will have a bachelor's degree in computer
information systems or related field or four years experience with
Hewlett-Packard 3000 minicomputer systems. Two years experience with COBOL
is required. Two years experience with PowerHouse is preferred.
