Hello,

I hope there is a terminal/DTC expert out there. I have a problem getting my terminals to connect to our HP3000. It may/may not be related to DTCMGR or Inetd. We are running MPE/iX 5.5 with pp1.

Everything was working fine on Friday. Added a Cisco catalyst 1900 to our network. Everything seemed fine. Saturday afternoon we had a power outage and after restarting all the equipment I only tried a terminal connection to the HP9000. This morning from the terminals we can connect to the HP9000 box, but not the HP3000. We are using DTCMGR(14.1)/OpenView and NMMGR is configured that way. All the PC's can connect just fine to the HP3000 using VT-MGR.

When try to connect from a terminal with the Inetd job not running we get:
        connect foo
Connection refused by destination (DTC11)

When Inetd is running we get:
        connect foo
Connection #2 established to foo.magiclink.com
To return to DTC interface, type <CTRL>K
DTC>

And no connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
