NTFS is the file system for NT. It is quite advanced as file systems go
and incorporates all sorts of features not unlike MPE's file system. It
has an ACL (Access Control List) and recovery mechanisms akin to the XM.
It is indeed 32 bit but only used by NT.
Kind regards,

Denys, thanks for the nice explanation of disk addressing in
MS software, but you left NTFS hanging. Where does NTFS fit in the
scheme of things? It is 32 bit but NOT FAT32??
BTW, this 10 digit dialing is a pain in the neck and an
imposition by the telcos. Technology is supposed to make
life easier. The telcos are just too lazy to apply some
technology to carve up area code areas into smaller geograhical
pieces.
