I agree with Lee (&you) too!!! I think the :SHOWVAR enhancement
"woudl be nice". I also agree that in some production environemnts
with menus or with process-handline applications, the :SHOWVAR ;JOB=
may shed some light on whats going on.
I should have said, "many" customers not "most" customers in my
original posting because I don't have enough data to back-up the idea
that a true majority of customers have the environment I described. I
do know it is not uncommon.
So either way I am all for a :SHOWVAR enhancement, just as long as we
don't get carried away (and it appears we are not).
