The official spec sheet on MPE 6.5 says it can support
up to 3,300 terminal sessions, and up to 2,600 virtual
terminal sessions, and up to 20,000 TCP connections.

It also says it supports up to 511 disc spindles.

You probably need some sort of cluster arrangement to
get around these limits.

Subject: [HP3000-L] max ldev number?

I am told that the max ldev number in 5.5,6.0 & 6.5 is something like 4079.

Is this true, and if so, how do you get that many users connected on the
newer, bigger, boxes that have user limits above that number?
