SAFE/3000 allows this to be done outside of DBUTIL with the access rule:
user(@.@) and access(r,l);
Can also specify type of access based on logonid, program being used to
access the database, time of day, date, day of week, expiration, etc. Access
control is implemented using AIF:PE at the OS level, so controls apply to
all users on the system and one does not need to make any application
changes. Call or email for details.
