Wasn't this aspect what started a thread long ago that resulted
in a contest of implementing FakeLP in Java, Perl, C and maybe
even other languages? (FakeLP is a little program that listens
to tcp port 9100 to receive and process JetDirect spooler output
in its "final" form).
