You already have the Suprtool utility on your HP 3000. This could be an
integral part of whatever scheme you end up with, in large part because of
Suprtool's very fast access to IMAGE data, and the new STExport module which
lets you prepare data for importing into other apps on other platforms.
Suprtool could also play a part if HP-UX is in your plan, now that Suprtool/UX
is available on HP-UX, with Oracle database access.
 
I'm not saying that Suprtool is the whole solution, but it could be an
important building block.
