I believe the 36 path is a SE (half-height) card and the remainder are all on the MFIO card SE Scsi (internal & external).

I can't remember what the model was of this system, but at the main menu you might try doing an SEA IPL command to see if it finds a bootable disc and use that at the BO command instead of PRI or ALT. I don't think the SEA is an option on the NOVA/9X7 boxes.

If you did an install and a restore the boot PRI boot path should bring you up, however, if you changed the config after the install and before the restore without using the KEEP on the RESTORE, you may have overlayed the files in the CONFIG.SYS group.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Replacement of Disk.

Dear All,

I am back to office now.

Let me share with you. The server I have received from a remote office.
The last CSLT was generated in year 2006. I have no any history about this
server.
Recently I have received this server to maintain.

Today morning I was able to able to restore the data. Just now I have
restarted the server and all the disk's are missing again.

Seems I have to modify the disk layout as per below.

P0 56/36.5 DISK
P1 56/36.6 DISK
P2 56/52.0 TAPE
P3 56/52.1 DISK
P4 56/52.3 DISK
P5 56/52.4 DISK
P6 56/52.5 DISK
P7 56/52.6 DISK

Please advise how I can modify this given Paths and Save them. before I
restart to restore the data.

With Warm Regards
