Hello Eben,

take a look on ORSYP´s $UNIVERSE job-scheduler (http://www.orsyp.com). This
is a platform independent scheduler, which supports the UNiX and Linux
flavours as well as the HP3000 MPE/iX system.
We help several HP3000 customers with $UNIVERSE, which have the same
requirements as you on their new UNiX platform.
$Universe gives you job-control, tracking, monitoring, reporting, logging, etc.
But it cost time to get familiar with it and you have to pay for a license.
