Elang,

Is the printer in a DTC port or a 'Native Mode' network printer? If DTC,
You indicated that you have power cycled the printer and server, but what
about the DTC?

Thanx,
        Jon

Subject: [HP3000-L] spooler problem

After a brief power flicker this morning, our line printer (lm615)
will not print. After starting the spooler service, the console
displays error messages:

Output spooler, LDEV #44: FDEVICECONTROL error
Native Mode Spooler message 9547
Storage management SIO undefined function
file System message 6001
Printer storage manager: an error was reported from a lower level
subsystem
Printer storage manager message 13
An unclassified software problem occurred
Low Level I/O message 249
Output spooler, LDEV #44: The spooler could not complete output of
file 019156.out.hpspool
Native Mode Spooler message 9511
Output spooler, LDEV #44: Stopped

I have both powered on/off the printer as well as the server, but
still get the same message. What steps can I take to resolve?

Thanks
Elang
